What are the giants that you are facing today?  Are they people who are always telling you that you are not good enough?  Are they people who tell you that your ideas of losing weight, bettering yourself and driving forward is simply unattainable?  I am here to tell you that as I am writing this blog in my living room that you are not alone!  There are so many others out there that are going through the very same thing!  You are worthy of getting what you want, you just have to dig deep enough to pull out those fresh thoughts of empowerment and fresh feelings of worthiness and bring them to the surface to be exposed!  You are strong enough to get the real prize at the end of the field!  You are POWER beyond explanation!

Keep digging you feet into the soil and keep pressing on!  I promise the road of heart ache will end in you cry out in victory!

Sorry for the over enthusiasm when introducing myself!!

I LOVE what I do and I just cannot contain the bursts of ENERGY I get to share!!  J

I do want to talk to you today about what the power of proximity is.  We have all heard people say that who someone models is who they will eventually become.  We see this is peer groups where someone new to the group is completely opposite of the others in the group, until one day…That person subconsciously picks up the behavior of the others.  It is the same when it comes to weight loss, sports performance conditioning, eating better, etc.  You NEED to model what has worked in someone elses life first and not others that keep going around and around never getting what they want.

The key is to get into close proximity with those who are going to lift you up and give you the right feedback when you need it!

Have a great day and talk to you soon!

I hear time and time again that people when trying to lose weight, increase strength, feel better through fitness, that they are alone.  I can honestly say that this is not the truth.  I am there!  I am there from the moment the choice is made to change ones behavior and I am there the moment the goal is met.  The point is: WE are a TEAM!  We can do anything together if we work together as one unit!  We can climb the highest mountains, cross the deepest and darkest seas.  We can do anything!

Think of a rope.  Now this rope is one unit, but if you take a closer look at what the rope is made up of you will find that the rope is made up of 10-100 individual strands that if they stood alone in a tug a war challenge, they would break and they would break fast!  The person who designed the rope knew that the final product would be stronger if the single strand was met by 10-100 more of the same which would make it that much stronger.

Now with respect to fitness and health, YOU and I are the strands that make the rope strong. WE have to work together to make sure that the variables that are keeping you from getting what you want from your body do not creep up and keep you from succeeding.  I am there for you and WE can make the mountains move or we can RUN over them!!  J

Where does your motivation come from?  What is the process that you take in order to make the choice to run a little faster?  When you decide to push the envelope a little harder?  When you change your state of mind from defeated to conqueror in the snap of your index finger and thumb?

I challenge you this week to dig a little deeper inside your heart and make those changes that you need to make in order to increase you effectiveness in all areas of your life!

I challenge you to wake up in the morning and look at yourself in the mirror and say first thing, YOU FREAKIN ROCK!!

I challenge you to do the right thing and that is to exercise and eat a little better than yesterday because you deserve to have the goals achieved you have set for yourself!!!

Keep driving, keep running and never settle for GOOD ENOUGH!!!

I love to hear that people are mixing it up to keep the body moving but also the mind.  Too often, I hear of people doing the same workouts day in and out for years without changing anything. Then they come to me and ask for a tune up which is as simple as changing the range of motion, rep range, set range, tempo and even the whole workout!  :)  I like to hear when people get the results they are looking for when they keep out of their comfort zone and move into the unfamiliar like speed work, power and also isometrics.  WOW!  I haven't thought that I would ever say the isometrics word, but I have!!  Isometrics have been proven to increase not only strength in the tissue, but also laughter in the body. ;)
